    Exploring Careers in Commerce and Management: A Day at Askan Technologies

    On 26th September 2025, Askan Technologies had the pleasure of hosting 106 enthusiastic B.Com and BBA students from Bharathi Women’s Arts and Science College, Thatchur, Kallakurichi. The students, accompanied by their faculty, brought energy, curiosity, and a keen interest in understanding real-world industry practices.

    The students were warmly welcomed by Fahmeeda (HR Associate) & Meenakshi (Head HR), who introduced them to Askan Technologies’ core values, innovative projects, and collaborative work culture. The students made a strong impression as they explored the workspace and interacted with our team.

    Knowledge Sharing Sessions

    The visit included insightful sessions designed to equip students with practical knowledge and career readiness:

    • Career Guidance & Industry Roles: Understanding roles related to B.Com and BBA, career pathways, and professional skills.

    • Recruitment & Resume Building: Tips for creating impactful resumes, improving LinkedIn profiles, and preparing for interviews.

    • Project Workflow & Practical Insights: Overview of how real-world projects are approached, executed, and delivered in an IT organization.

    These sessions helped bridge the gap between classroom learning and the expectations of the professional world.

    Internship and Project Opportunities

    Askan Technologies also discussed various internship and live project opportunities available to students, encouraging them to gain hands-on experience and strengthen both technical and soft skills.

    The students actively participated in interactive sessions, including a self-introduction exercise as part of recruitment simulation. They asked thoughtful questions about career growth, project execution, and entrepreneurial opportunities, creating an engaging and motivating environment.

    The industrial visit highlighted the importance of connecting academics with real-world experiences. It was a privilege for Askan Technologies to host the students and faculty of Bharathi Women’s Arts and Science College.
