On 20th January 2026, Askan Technologies had the pleasure of hosting 80 enthusiastic Computer Application students from Cauvery College for Women (Autonomous), Trichy. • Career Guidance & Industry Roles– Students gained insight into roles relevant to Computer Application graduates, career pathways available in the IT industry, and the professional skills required to thrive.
• Recruitment & Resume Building– Interactive tips were shared on crafting impactful resumes, optimising LinkedIn profiles, and preparing effectively for interviews — giving students a real edge as they approach the job market.
• Project Workflow & Practical Insights– An engaging overview of how real-world projects are conceptualised, executed, and delivered within an IT organisation, helping students connect classroom concepts with industry realities.

These sessions served as a powerful bridge between academic knowledge and professional expectations, providing students with actionable insights they can apply as they step into their careers.

Internship and Project Opportunities

Askan Technologies also highlighted the various internship and live project opportunities available to students, encouraging them to gain hands-on experience and develop both technical and soft skills. The discussions inspired many students to take proactive steps towards strengthening their professional profiles.

Activities & Student Engagement

 Adding an element of fun and healthy competition, a general quiz was conducted for the students. Participants engaged enthusiastically, with winners receiving goodies as tokens of appreciation a small gesture that was met with great excitement and encouragement from the entire group. The students also participated in self-introduction and mock interview exercises as part of recruitment simulation activities, helping them build confidence and communication skills in a supportive environment. Their participation was energetic, thoughtful, and truly commendable.The day concluded with a group photograph, a moment that captured the warmth, enthusiasm, and spirit of connection shared between the students, faculty, and the Askan Technologies team. The industrial visit underscored the immense value of connecting academic learning with real-world industry exposure.
