When Curiosity Meets Code: CEG Students at Askan Technologies

On 13th September 2025, Askan Technologies had the pleasure of hosting 80 IT students from the College of Engineering Guindy, Anna University. The students got a firsthand look at how a professional IT company operates and had the chance to connect what they’ve been learning in the classroom with real-world industry practices.

The visit was led by Mrs. R. L. Jasmine and Dr. D. Narashiman, whose guidance ensured the day was well-organized and productive. Their experience and encouragement inspired students to stay curious, engage fully, and see the practical side of IT learning.

The day began with a warm welcome from Ms. Fahmeeda, HR Associate, who shared insights into Askan Technologies—our culture, values, and collaborative approach to solving real-world challenges. Students got a glimpse of how a modern IT company operates, not just in terms of technology, but also teamwork, creativity, and problem-solving.

Moreover, Askan Technologies introduced internship and project opportunities, both online and offline, giving students a chance to apply their academic knowledge in real-world scenarios and gain hands-on experience. By the end of the visit, students had a clear sense of how classroom concepts translate into actual industry work.
