Sparking Innovation: ECE Students Take a Deep Dive into Askan Technologies

On 6th September 2025, Askan Technologies had the pleasure of hosting 48 enthusiastic students from the Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) Department of Adhiparasakthi College of Engineering, Kalavai. Accompanied by their dedicated faculty members, the students brought energy and curiosity, making the day an inspiring learning experience for both the visitors and our team.

Welcome and Orientation

The day began with a warm welcome from Dr. Meenakshi Ganesh, Head of Human Resources at Askan Technologies, who set the tone for a day of learning and exploration.

Students were taken on a guided tour of the Askan Technologies campus, spanning multiple blocks and workspaces. This allowed them to experience the dynamic environment of a professional IT company, witnessing teams collaborate and solve problems in real time.

During the orientation, Ms. Fahmeeda (HR) introduced the students to Askan Technologies, highlighting the company’s culture, operations, and collaborative work approach. Students gained insight into how technology solutions are developed and implemented in a professional setting.

Learning Sessions

The visit featured focused sessions aimed at providing both industry insight and career guidance:

• Recruitment Process – Led by Ms. Fahmeeda (HR), this session offered students a clear understanding of how recruitment works in IT companies, what employers seek, and tips to prepare for interviews and assessments.

• Career Guidance & eCommerce Projects – Conducted by Dr. Meenakshi Ganesh, this session provided guidance on aligning skills with career goals. Students also gained insight into the types of eCommerce projects handled at Askan and the real-world application of technology solutions.

These sessions highlighted the importance of soft skills, technical knowledge, and proactive learning in shaping successful careers in the IT industry.

Interactive Sessions

The visit included interactive sessions to make the experience engaging and informative. Students had the opportunity to connect with mentors, observe professional teamwork, and discuss career pathways.
