On November 10, 2025, a batch of 108 third-year IT students from Sri Sairam Engineering College visited Askan Technologies Pvt. Ltd. The students were accompanied by four faculty members who guided and supported them throughout the visit —

The session began with a warm welcome by Ms. Fahmeeda, HR Associate at Askan Technologies, who introduced the agenda and set the tone for an insightful and interactive learning experience.

Sri Sairam Engineering College, established in 1995, is a renowned institution under the Sapthagiri Educational Trust in Chennai. The college is known for its strong academic mission, modern infrastructure, advanced laboratories, digital library, and dedicated faculty.

Students were guided through:
Career Guidance, helping them understand various IT roles and growth paths
Resume Building, including tips to create strong, industry-ready resumes
Roles in an IT Company, explaining responsibilities across development, testing, support, and management
Managing LinkedIn Profiles to build an effective online professional brand
Certification Courses that add value to their technical skills
Communication Skills, emphasizing their importance in interviews and workplace collaboration
The students were also given an overview about the internship and project opportunities available at Askan Technologies. Students were informed about the selection process, eligibility, benefits, and how such opportunities help them gain hands-on experience. The discussion encouraged students to explore real-world exposure and enhance their employability.
Student Interactions

The interactive session saw enthusiastic participation from students. Many asked questions related to career development, choosing the right certifications, how to prepare for interviews, and the expectations companies have for freshers.
The session also included short interactive activities that allowed students to express themselves confidently, making the experience lively and engaging.
