The Discover app collects precise location data (GPS) and approximate location data to provide core app functionality including:

Displaying your current position on the in-app map
Finding businesses, services, and places near you
Providing location-based search results
Location data is collected while the app is in use (foreground). Background location access is requested to maintain location context for continuous map and nearby search features.

Location data is not sold, shared with third parties for advertising, or stored on our servers beyond what is necessary to provide the service.
